Job Description:
You will supervise the daily operations of inventory control, warehousing & distribution.
Ensure that supplies are delivered in a timely manner through proactive planning and careful management.
Work with the procurement team on the issues pertaining to stock items and optimize holding stock to ensure minimal stock-out.
Enforce FIFO procedure are practise at all times.
Manage vendors to ensure quality and that delivery objectives are met.
Supervise & counsel staff on discipline matters pertaining to work performance & conduct.
Assist in the maintenance of ISO quality procedures and SAP system pertaining to inventory management.
Plan & review store layout constantly to improve storage maximization, material movement, proper segregation, retrieval & identification.
To oversee & enforce the overall safety & security aspect of stores.
Job Requirements:
Minimum Degree holder
Min 3 years experience in the logistics environment
Good management skills & able to work under pressure to achieve set objective within a timeframe.
Able to manage & maintain or improve on inventory management.
Possess strong leadership qualities & effective communication skills; both spoken & written.
Good organizer who is committed, responsible & reliable.
Independent & self-motivated & able to provide OJT for subordinates.
Possess planning & customer service skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and SAP ERP system
